Building trust, basic movement and a steady routine.
02 · Build
Developing skills, stamina and confidence week by week.
03 · Consolidate
Embedding progress and planning next steps beyond the programme.
Threshold is occupational therapy informed, built on the Model of Human Occupation, with progress measured against each person's own goals using Goal Attainment Scaling. It is a supportive group exercise programme, not clinical treatment.

Who is it for?
Adults living with the effects of a brain injury or stroke who want to rebuild confidence, routine and physical capacity in a supportive group.
Do I need boxing experience?
No. Threshold starts from the basics and every session is non-contact and adapted to each person.
Is it safe after a brain injury?
The programme is occupational therapy informed and led by an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist. We'll talk through your recovery before you join, and may ask you to check with your GP or care team.
